MLK Speech

Let us start by going back to the original, iconic speech given by Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. (“MLK”) at the Lincoln Memorial, August 28, 1963.  It lasts just over 17 minutes.  It is still one of the greatest oratorical moments in our nation’s history.

Within a year and a half of that historic speech, Dr. King laid dead on a Memphis balcony, the victim of a hateful murderer.  The following speech by Robert F. Kennedy, marking MLK’s death, is powerful in its own right.
